OMG I want this game now...

It does look incredible, have to agree with comments about the apm mind. But I'm amazed to see that they have managed to an RTS game to be played just by touch, ussually you use most of the buttons on a keyboard!
 
Looks fantastic, really shows the potential for touch screen stuff. Although, i wonder if the guy was standing while playing that, i could imagine that would kill your back and neck after a while playing like that lol.
 
Technology is great but the game looks so over simplified for my tastes

Prefer a mouse. Think about how much area a mouse covers compared to your hand on a table. I see no productivity benefits but just more work.
 
Nice concept but wouldn't see that catching on in a big way though, at least not compared to a keyboard and mouse. Regardless, a rather nice looking game.
 
i posted a thread about this game a while ago, had some youtube vids showing the detail really well .. defo one to look forward too
 
Doesn't look like the touch screen really gives an advantage really over Mouse and Keyboard. Sure it's more "intuitive" but it just ends up looking more cumbersome and the gameplay looks really simplified as a result. I'm sure once the novelty of the interface wears off, it'd be quite a mediocre game.

Then again, with the sucess the Wii has, maybe I'm completely out of touch with what is the future of gaming.
 
Hmm starcraft would work a treat on the 800x480 (game runs 640x480) touchscreen phone :D


EDIT: Half the time the actions on the screen in that video don't even seem to be corresponding to his finger actions :S
 
I wouldn't mind a big touch screen for internet browsing and stuff... it works really well with opera mobile + 800x480 touchscreen on my phone.
