omg just found a hand granade

out metel detecting to day had got a good signal so started to dig. then saw the top of this metal thing so doug some more then just pulled it out.then realized what i had a granade..so then just droped the thing and ran like hell lol.saw 2 guys at the asda security and told them ,they looked at me gone out,so i took them to where it was and they got on to the police . police came out took some pictures of it and sent the photos to the guys at catrick bomb squad and are on there way down to dispose it right now...am still shaking now dont find these very offten lol

Why is it a lucky a escape? They don't just go off randomly, the pin needs to be pulled.

But yeah, pics. If you find a hand grenade you take pics. Possibly too dark. Odd that another grenade was found in Wakefield in October also.
