Today I learned an iPhone trick to quickly select multiple items - The Verge

If you don't want to read the article, in an app such as messages, reminders, notes etc try swiping down with two fingers to multi select rather than going into the menus.
I did not know about this and it's completely going to change I use the mail and reminders apps on my phone. I can see it being useful in Messages as well although not so much.

Doesn’t work on Mail on my iPad but does on notes

EDIT: noob error, I was using the Edison mail app. Works fine on Apple app.

This is one of the things that someone tells you and you promptly forget. I’m sure I’d heard it before but this is a great quick tip, thank you for the reminder.

I must have discovered this on my own 10 times and then forgot, and discovered it again.

The only one I found out myself was double tapping with 3 fingers to bring up the magnifier. Oh, and holding the Apple Pencil on the screen after drawing a rough shape turns it into proper one.
