Ive just found the Button/hotkey that you use that makes Opera Read out writing that you have highlighted :D
Greatest Feature ever!!! I might be able to keep up with arguments in SC now :p

Is there anyway to Alter the speed of it and alter the voice of it? At the Moment it sounds like Steven Hawking a bit. I want a voice that is more soothing and wont have mum running out the room thinking some guys are robbing the place late at night :p

yeah you can mess with it a little.

tools >> preferences >> advanced >> voice >> details.

you have to disable 'high quality text to speech' to get at the settings though, and then it really sounds like a robot lol

by the way, i just told it to speak your post, and instead of SC it said South Carolina :p

It sounds more like Leonard Nimoy to me...

The thing I most like about Opera, is when you hold down one mouse button then click the other.. it makes you go backwards and forwards through pages. Its the greatest control known to man. The only problem is I keep finding myself trying to do in it windows/IE/Firefox and get annoyed when it doesn't work.
