OMG - Sky!

I have been a Sky Digital subscriber for 5 years or so now, and today i got a call from them asking if i wanted the Sky sports channels and the movie channels for free. I thought there had to be a catch of somesort so i asked WHY? The guy on the other end said basically they were upgrading their systems or something in two hours or so. I could not believe this, so i asked him again how much will this cost?

He said nothing. Not a penny.

Meh, i took it and he said check in two hours time.

Anyone else got this?

And so the wait begins.

lol you'll be paying in a few months

you've just been stung by one of skys outsourced call centres into upgrading your package

trust me i know i used to work there

Eeeeeeeeeeeek...Ill have to keep an eye on the bill then. Can't have that happening! I hope your wrong though

phone sky and query that

prolly a call from the outsourced call centre in glasgow(bunch of goons) and not a proper sky employee)

It may be a free month of sport + movie and if you dont cancel before the end of the month they start charging you. We've had a few of those offers. Great if it happens during xmas/summer holidays
