Right guys,

I have just installed Windows 7 and because of the state my STEAM folder was in i decided it was time to delete my whole dir: and to reinstall everything from a fresh within STEAM.

I have just reinstalled STEAM, logged in and i only have Counterstrike Source, Day of Defeat Source and a couple of basic cheap games....?!?!?!?

I should have games like Fallout 3 to Crysis Warhead and Crysis one whilst also shower the two STALKER games etc....!

Left 4 Dead etc....

Can anyone help?

1. Logged into the right account?
2. Is the 'not installed' section expanded?
3. Look on Steam forums for common client issues, if this is a bug you're probably not the first.

Really sounds like you logged into a wrong account. I know a lot of people have the autologging feature on AND have two accounts. Very easy to mix up. If it wasn't that, just contact Steam people about the issue.

Also the account names can be pretty much anything. For example my account name is my old already expired e-mail account because I created my account way back in 2002 or 2003 (my Steam id number is less than four thousand!).

they'll turn back up :)

I've seen this problem reported before, and every time the games just.. show up again after a while.

This is what I was going to say; are you sure you haven't logged into an old account by mistake?

Delete ClientRegistry.blob
100% sure to fix any and every problem with steam.

That's funny because it's so true. I've fixed probably a dozen completely different problems with Steam just by deleting that weird and magical blob file. Anything from games not starting to messed up graphics in some games to not being able to download games to server browser not finding anything to, well, you get the point.

I've had this before Shep, I almost died when I saw it

The only advice I can give is, 'just wait' and they'l turn up

Happened to me when I installed Steam on windows 7. As people have already said, delete clientregistry.blob and then start up steam again. If they're not there just keep restarting the program and they'll appear after a while.

I also had a problem with my games list not too long ago.. I logged in and found there to be nothing in the list at all. Clicking Backup Games from the file menu seemed to force the list to populate.

I seem to remember you have to agree to the steam subscriber agreement terms and conditions again before the games will reappear. just go to activate a product on steam, then just keep clicking next until it asks for the product key, then click cancel.
