omgomgomg EPIC Team Ico *rumour*!!!

Yeah I'm pretty gutted about VC3... I have a PSP so it's not a big deal for actually playing they game, but I really think they've neutered the series by shifting it away from a "big boy" console. :(

Oh well, ROLL ON ICO HD COLLECTION!!! Woot Woot :D

I'm watching Sega's TGS2010 live-stream at the moment and I am loving the voice cast for Valkyria Chronicles 3. Anime fans might recognise who is who.

Anyways, ICO / Shadow of the Colossus will not only be HD remastered, but will be 3D-ready too.

Same screenshots already released, but this one comes with a sneak peak video preview of the two games as well.

Yeah, I saw the Prince of Persia one online saying it was coming March 2011. That's good but Ubisoft still haven't said anything.

there is a vid on the PSN, i havent downloaded it do im not sure if its an ico/colosus id or one for the new project but theres definatly somthing on psn.

i had and played to death the demo for ico but never had the full game and shadow of colosus just passed me by for some reason, have been tempted a few times to pick them up off ebay but ill just wait now.

While the video is short and relatively pointless, it has confirmed what myself and many others have said for a long time; those games would (and are) be beautiful in HD. SoTC could almost be a full blown PS3 game from that video, looks stunning.

I was reading on a news site (may be total rubbish) but it seems this is Sony's "PS2 backwards compatibility" effort that they've settled on. With the success of God of War, remastering is the way to go. Ubisoft have joined with the Prince of Persia trilogy and Square Enix are expected to not remake (with the fancy graphics shown at E3 in 2006) but remaster Final Fantasy. Which FF, maybe VII but not entirely sure.

It would be ideal from a business standpoint, BC won't net them much cash. They can either sell old games for pennies/let people play their existing libraries, or they can sell HD remakes at full price.

Well it certainly works for me. I've got God of War collection and will be purchasing PoP and the Team ICO stuff on day one. :p

I'm looking forward to this, have both on teh PS2, but that's in the loft these days and would love to play both again.
