My mind was wandering recently and came up with the following thoughts
- Nvidia have implemented PhysX acceleration to run on their GFX cards
- Someone has got this to work on ATI as well + I think Nv indicated they
would not prevent ATI from supporting this
- I've got a MB with 790GX chipset so I've some GFX power on board
- I actually use a dedicated GFX card so onboard GFX is not in use
Thoughts that crossed my mind was that
- this can't be an unusual set up as onboard GFX seems to be become a
standard part of chipsets
- so has anyone managed to make use of the otherwise unused processing
available in the onboard GFX engine to run the PhysX software or anything
else?
