On demand streaming service

Can anyone recommend a good on demand streaming service for TV programs and movies? Up until now I've been using lovefilm but last night I cancelled my subscription as I was getting bored with what they were offering and also, last night they said I had to rent a tv program, that last week was available to me.

Although I've watched nearly everything on there that interests me
