Need some help here guys!!! (And Gals)

Friend has been trying to install on-line poke on his pc for weeks, keeps failing.

Any suggestions ?

User is administrative and firewall and av all ok/

Im only 18, i just been playing it a little too long for my own good i think ;)

I hate black jack! it's so much more luck than betting imo (Im sure many will disagree). Get someone good to teach you poker, watch a few of the texas hold ems on tv, as they explain a lot of rules and stuff in the commentary.

Blackjack i spose its like one of the easiest games to play and yea luck.

U have 18, Hit me, oo 22, bust damn :(

Or if ure lucky 18, hit me, 21 woot win. lol
 
Yeah, blackjack is ok in real life, ie at a table, but online is much harder and pretty pointless. Same with poker tbh, but theres nowehre around here for me to play poker :( I do much better when i can actually read my opponents :)

Yea i see what u mean. I might spend some time this weekend learning poker, so ill see u at william hill ;)

If you are taking a card on 18 then you really should give up all together.

Im in full time work and am controlling what i spend money on.

£25 a month for online gambling is not bad, normally make it back.
 
Dont be fooled by the poker you see on TV, it is heavily edited to show the hands where action occurs. You will spend a lot of time folding your hands, or having hands folded to you when you bet out. Its not all massive raises, all in calls and royal flushes!

It requires a lot of patience and discipline to be a regular winner.

If you are a brand new player, just remember that whilst people are bluffing sometimes, more often than not they will have the hand that they are representing so dont assume every move against you is an attempt to bluff you off the pot.
 
I played a lot on poker.com - love their interface and they have true freerolls with $100 cashpot. I started on their freerolls and won a bit of cash, then started playing sit and go tournys and other buy in tournys. Now have a bank roll of $500+ without ever having had to deposit.
Beware their are a lot of bad player in the freerolls - bluffing doesnt work too often as some people just want the action. Now that I am a decent player I find the freerolls hell but its a good way to start without any risk.
