onboard 6100 GFX

well checking out a review site they said it got 1300 3dmark2003 points which isnt really good at all.
but according to some quick googling its capable of playing it reasonably well with a sempron/1gb/6100 graphics card.

runnign sims 2 on a duron 1200mhz with 512mb SDram and integrated SiS graphics card on a jetway board here (mums pc), its not great and everything set to low, but its reasonably smooth so i would imagine youl be fine.
 
Sims 2 primarily uses the CPU I believe. You should be able to run it ok on medium settings. My gfs PC can run it on high with just a 6200.
 
Just ran 3dmark 03 on my 3700+ single core, 1GB RAM, 6150 onboard set to 128MB- get 1134.

I'll be getting a ATI X300 128MB dedicated RAM tomorrow and I'll test that.

I doubt this card will cope with Sims, it can't even manage Half Life 2 walking around in the train station on lowest detail 800x600.

I would install Sims 2, but can't be bothered. :p also don't have save games with a full map.
