Hey Guys

Is this possible now days to use the onboard gpu of a mobo AND a pci-e card?

I remember from the days of AGP that it was either one of the other.

Basically I'm tryin to use my x1950pro and also the onboard GMA 3100 card at the same time for 3 displays but depending on which device i set in the bios to be the initial first display, always seems to get an error about drivers when windows loads.

I know both the ati drivers and the intel GMA drivers I'm using are both working and installed correctly, but they just don't want to work together :(

Any ideas?

youre trying to mix drivers, if they were both ATI you could do hybrid xfire (if your mobo supported it) so I assume its mixing the drivers which is causing the issue

it'll work in XP and windows 7, but on vista. Vista doesn't support running multiple graphics drivers at once, whereas i've experienced it working in win7 :)
