Onboard Ethernet

The cable works fine in my PCI NIC, so i think the cable is oki.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the replies

In the device manager there is no Yellow Marks showing any driver error so i think its installed correctly. I'm guessing it maybe a faulty board which i really hope its not.

Keep the suggestions following though. Oh and by the way the light doesn't come up on the back of the on board lan to say that theres a cable in there.

*EDIT: The computer is connected to a router down stairs which is shared by one other computer (Cable Modem -> Router -> My Computer)*

The port looks fine to me.

No light comes on though when i plug then cable into the port.

Ah crap, really dont fancy RMAing this board. Finally got all the wiring and that sorted
