just wondering, could a OC'd cpu cause driver crashes (well bsod's) on a onboard gpu on the motherboard.. or would it just require a little extra juice to cpu?

as was fine before my old gpu died... or is this just me seeing the diference in driver quality between nvidia/ati? :D

old card was 9800gt

onboard is hd 4290...

i know the BSOD's are caushed by driver crashing n not being able to continue
is this me just being paranoid or is it just a driver issue?

depends on the cpu and the onboard gpu

but the onboard that uses the cpu power to run, then yes, it would be possible for that to happen

increasing the voltage can help with stability, but it may not fix it

dont know about the 4290 thou

also remember that ur onboard is also using your ram too
