Would having the onboard graphics turned on and having a graphics card in the slot make the cpu work harder.Reason why im asking i have run my new build in bios no windows installed yet and after 10 mins my cpu was about 49 degrees and the cpu fan was running at 4000 rpm so i turned it off.I do have 2 case fans but 1 isnt working yet as i need an adapter for a 3 to 4 pin and none localy will have to send off.

Its got integrated graphics mode and a few sub headings under that for alocating memory and the like, sideport, uma, but also it says disable will that disable all the feature to do with the onboard.

It doesnt say its detecting the gfx card as i can see tbh its saysing enabled in the integrated onboard mode.I thought after reading on here over the last few weeks that it would auto detect.mobo is gigabyte ga-ma785gpmt-ud2h. Maybe i have missed something will have another look in the bios.
