Onboard or PCI Sound card?

Hey guys im just customizing my computer for purchasing, but not sure if its better to get PCI or onboard, what do you guys think?

depends if you play games and if you like your music

If your into your DVDs and music get pci one and if you play some these new games better with PCI one to take load of your PC

but if your pc just for watch tv and gen stuff keep onboard
