Onboard or SB Audigy 2 ZS?

I have realtek ALC 890 onboard sound but I also have a SB Audigy 2 ZS "Gamer" (whatever that means).

Which one is better? - I only have a rinky-dink 5.1 sound system that I bought for £20 (my speakers are next to be upgraded).

Are you a gamer? Higher levels of EAX are available on the Audigy 2. It's probably higher quality too but you probably won't hear it on your speakers.

God knows, I'd try them both and see which one you prefer.

As said above, if you want EAX then put the Audigy in....
