Hey, today I put my new board in, with the rest of the new stuff (gfx card, hd, processor etc etc).

The board I installed was the ATI Sapphire Radeon Xpress 200P PI-A9RX480.

I done everything in the manual, however when I installed the audio drivers, it didn't work, the dislay and everything else works fine. There's no sound device installed according to my computer, and nothing plays (the only sound I get it from the actual computer, like a beep every now and then)

Any ideas how I could fix this?

Thanks!

if the sound drivers are not installed the onboard sound device will not work although you enabled it in the bios....

Check out the manufacturers website for alternative sound drivers....

Alternatively try using sound drivers from another source...

I am assuming when you go to device manager there is yellow exclamation mark near the sound drivers? If yes you need to follow the above steps otherwise the onboard sound will not work...

Is the onboard sound from realtek?
