I'm at my grandparents today and their computer seems to have mislaid the onboard sound. It's not disabled in the bios, but as far as I can tell it's not in the device manager at all (not even under uknown devices).
It's an Asus A8V micro atx board, I'm getting the drivers online again at the moment but the net connection is very slow so in the meantime does anyone have any ideas?
I've checked and the card is enabled in the bios.
