I am looking to buy 5.1 system and have onboard, c-media,which is capable(?) of 5.1
I am looking at £100 (Creative I-Trigue 5.1 5600 Speakers - Retail (SP-052-CL)) for the speakers would the on board do them justice, or which sound card from here would be worth the investment.
At what point, financially do speakers need a sound card, as I am also looking for my son too, he doesnt need such good speakers , lol
