Hi,

To improve the cooling in my pc case I am looking at removing the audibly se sound card and using the on board Realtek acl888b sound with 5.1 head phones to play bf3.

I am not too concerned about the change in sound quality unless it is much worse but was wondering if there was any additional CPU usage in making the change ?

I have checked round the Internet and know from past experience on older pc's using on board sound had a noticeable impact on the CPU.

Any advice appreciated, thanks.
