Hi peeps, nice to see some names I recognise. Looking forward to catching up. And looking forward to getting to know some of the newer members.

Thank you to Feek for verifying that I am me and sorting out getting back into my account :)

Just incase anyone is interested, I'm a 43 year old mother of 2. I originally signed up at age 23 not long after baby Tiggy was born (she'll be 21 next month).

I'm not sure if my now 17 year old is a member of these here forums. But, dude, if you are don't worry, mummy won't post anything to make you embarrassed ;)
 
Glad to hear that you've been verified as yourself, welcome back. Were you rigorously questioned as to whether you were in fact Pete pretending to be someone else?

Yeah, I'm still not Pete. And I can assure you I never have been Pete.

I mean, in this day and age I'm sure Pete is a perfectly acceptable unisex name. But I'm still not Pete.

And for your peace of mind, the mods have verified I'm not Pete.

So uh, warm wishes to Pete wherever he or she is. But yeah, not me.

I can confirm that @tiggy is not Pete. Although I think everyone posting in this sub-forum is Pete from time to time :D

I guess it's better than being Dave, anyway.

Tiggy, the biggest change since you were last here is the new smiley: :cry:, that's how slow things move. It's great to see you back *hugs*

I can confirm that rigerous checks were carried out and I can reliably say that this is not Pete. (probably).

Surprisingly no. I was asked to tell Feek something only he and I would know. Which I did.

He did say he was pretty sure it was me (not Pete) from my email address anyway (it is my full name).

But just to clarify, I am not Pete, never was Pete and never will be Pete. No offence to Pete, I'm sure they're a perfectly nice individual.

Just a coincidence that I happened to have this account which I couldn't get into because I no longer had the email account I had 20 years ago.

Maybe we're all a little Pete at heart from time to time. I hope this thought brings the actual Pete comfort if they see it.

I wouldn't like to say whether I thought it was better to be Pete or Dave, I think there are pros and cons to both.
