I feel like I am in my 50's but that is in the head only.
I have high blood pressure but it is well under control.
My right eye is broken - can only see round the edges .
I am going grey on the head and growing a forest down below so not sure if todger is still there.
Nearly forgot I have hearing aids and off to Specsavers tomorrow for routine hearing test and aids updated.

My body though feels 80 - knees going but not bad enough for replacements -Back aches as does my neck - My hands and arms are weak but they have held up today moving and fitting two new water butts.
The wife says I have spindle shanks - another words rather thin and scrawney.

Other than all that don't feel to bad.

I hope all of you get your card but also in good physical condition.

Thanks everyone for the congrats.

I was born in Coplow St in Ladywood in Brum - I can remember playing on bomb site at back of us - We were lucky as we had a outside toilet where over the road they had a group toilets.
I remember the winter of 1947 when we heard a loud crack from out side and weight of snow had bought down cast iron gutter - I remember going to shop with mom and seeing her hand over ration vouchers for meat.
I started smoking at the grand old age of 7 - we used to wait outside of factory at going home time and pick up butt ends - we could buy one fag at shop. Milkman had horse and cart - My dad was a school caretaker so we did move around Brum a bit but my life has been normal blue collar -mostly physical jobs although I did have a few years in a Architects office - Was reasonably good at technical drawing but ended up on a out side physical job till I retired at 55.
I didn't drink in my youth as bottle of beer gave me wind - Never used drugs - never drank Coke or had burgers - Just a normal rocker with a Triumph Tiger 110.
Then got a car and picked up the my now wife - By then I had stopped smoking - so from age of 7 to 27 I smoked - not because I liked it but because everyone else did it.
The rest of my life has been getting a roof over our heads - We never qualified for council house - we don't have kids because we had a mortgage instead - By time we were in a possition to have kids we didn't want them - so now it's me and middle brother - as a normal family we don't talk about our younger brother who took Mom for every penny she could give them and she worked till 9.00 at night - This is after Dad died at 60

So just a normal uninteresting life except when I was 40 I found clay pigeon shooting - I was a reasonable shooter - Was Shropshire skeet champ in 1996 or there about but came about 25th in the whole shoot.
Around this time I got my first PC from well known seller in 90's and from there tried to understand how it works - unfortunatly I am a clockwork man - no spring or key and I am lost.
Bought my second PC from that place up north and it was a revalation - press enter and up it came - no going out to make a cup of tea.
Then I found OCUK and asked forum to spec me a PC - took the advise and built my own PC - It.s not hard is it - just put them together in right order.
That's it my mundane life. 80 yrs of good or bad - I don't know.

Getting old is OK if you are fit and healthy - I dread anything going wrong with me - Just had a blood test for diabetes as first thing eye hospital consultant said when he looked in my eye was have you got diabetes.
Not that I know about - Not heard from Doc so I must be OK which is a relief.

Ramble over - Look after your body - eat well and eat whole food - Drink in moderation and don't smoke.
