Is there anyway to find out what the stepping and serial number is of a cpu once the ihs is removed?
 
lol - no i meant apart from looking at the ihs. Been offered a 175 with ihs removed and was wanting to check that the ihs matches up to the cpu. Have looked through cpuz and everest and have found no data towards anything but the type of cpu
