I can't seem to get a definitive answer from my research as to whether it is better to go with a PSU that has one big 12v rail or one that has two (this is for running SLI).

Basically I'm thinking of getting the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad-SLi PCI-E 750W Power Supply. I've heard some places give it rave reviews for its one 12v rail for SLI usage.

Opinions & expertise please!!!

Welcome to the forums, there were initially some problems with SLi setups on dual rail PSUs but I believe they have been mostly sorted by now. I don't think there is a definitive answer as such, just pick a PSU that is good quality and has the capacity to cover your needs. PCP & Cooling make good PSUs so you can't go too far wrong there and it is perhaps worth noting that some PSUs which claim multi-rail are in fact really just PSUs with a large single rail. :)

Such as the Corsair, which is an excellent PSU.

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I guess 1 or 2 rails doesn't matter v. much: just watts, decent make and warranty.

I will check out the corsair which I wasn't aware of or considering.
