One Blind Mouse

Just had a strange problem with my mouse - it's a Habu laser mouse, and there's no light coming out of the laser on the bottom of it. I can't actually remember if there's meant to be or not, but I thought there was before. Anyway, it's behaving fairly normally (a bit sluggish maybe) in most directions but when I try to move it down-left, the pointer doesn't move very well (jumping around and not moving fast at all). Erm?

Should have bought a Razer

checked the connection and the eyepiece / laser thingy for any dust / rubbish thats in it?

Yeah, everything seems ok - have restarted, unplugged and replugged etc. I bought it as it beat the Razer in the one group test I read, but since then I've read nothing else about it

Looks like I might be replacing soon then.

Habu is a Razer, internally. Should have got a Logitech

As firthy said check the sensor for bits.
