I turned on my W11 work laptop and One Drive is syncing all of "My Documents" so all of the documents, pictures videos. If I open folder explorer I can't seem to access the my documents on my C: drive any more. It just shows the one drive version.

How do I go back? there isn't anything important or particularly work related but I don't need this syncing all the time.

Edit - I managed to persuade the folder viewer to actually view the folder I wanted it to (C:\Users\me\Documents) and it is empty as it is all syncing in One drive. So I can move it all back but how do I stop one drive from automatically grabbing it at all again

Go into settings, System, then storage and into advanced options. Go down to "where new content is saved" and then change all the things to want saved to the computer to C: drive. Or whatever your OS installed.
