one fan always spinning on idle on asus 980ti matrix

is it normal one of the fans to spin on idle on the asus 980ti matrix ?
is there a vbios update ?
also i am confused is there 2 different models of it matrix and platinum?

my base core clock is 1000mhz ???

I think the fan "not" spinning when idle is really properly the 10** series, I may be wrong. I can't recall my MSI 980Ti having zero spin on idle.

yes most of the brands have zero spin on idle , msi ,evga palit
but this is the first card i see one fan working
i want them both off

The Matrix doesn't have the fan stop feature. There are two model, one is the 980TI Matrix, and the other is the 980TI Matrix Platinum. The Platinum just has a higher factory overclock.

It's normal for one of the 2 fans to spin at low RPM on idle
