Cheers chaps.
Never really done any insect stuff before so was just stuck in Auto mode and hoped for the best.
This Dragonfly was a good 4" across. Noisy sod too. Sounded like a bee had flown into my ear...
There was a couple of smaller ones and another large one buzzing around but they didn't land at all.
I'm getting very impressed with this camera now - this is the first shot that I've taken that's only had very minor tweaking before it's done.

No need - buy a Fuji S9500.
1cm macro mode through to a 300mm zoom on the same lens.
Been out and playing with the ducks this evening. Hopefully got some more good shots there.
