One game in particular freezing

I'm having some issues while playing Paladins and I've, so far, been unable to solve it. Basically, when I play every few minutes, sometimes more often, the game will simply freeze, if I ctrl-alt-del and press cancel it will unfreeze temporarily but always happens again and again. Occasionally the game will crash entirely forcing me to hard reset my PC. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to find out what is causing the problem. I have no issues at all with any other games, only Paladins. Here are the things I have tried so far to no avail.

1.) Verifying Integrity through steam.
2.) Reinstalling the game
3.) Adding the game to the exception list for AVG and also turning AVG off entirely.
4.) Switching OFF Sli and using only one card.
5.) I changed the "Power Settings" of my minimum CPU usage percentage from 100% down to 50%, the max remains at 100% (I did this as I noticed on Afterburner while playing my CPU was spiking to over 90% usage sometimes).
6.) Monitoring temperatures/usages, all seem perfectly fine.
7.) Removing the game from my HDD and reinstalling on my SSD.
8.) Benchmarked my GPU's using Heaven at Max settings 1440p and it was fine.
9.) Stress tested my CPU and checked Ram with the windows memory diagnostic tool ( I will do it with Memtest86 soon as I find my memory stick). No issues.
10.) Checked my internet connection several times for packet loss, none.

As far as I know all my drivers are up to date, I have recently updated my Geforce Driver which at first seemed to work as I played a whole evening without crashes but the next day they started all over again, no idea why. Here is my spec, any suggestions on what to look for or how to determine what is causing the issue would be greatly appreciated, many people are playing the game with no issues so I would like to join them. I have tried lowering the resolution to 1080p and it still crashes. This evening I ran Fallout 4 and Middle Earth at Max Settings @ 1440p and had no issues at all.

Specs

GPU - 2x MSI Lightning GTX 780's SLI
PSU - 850W Corsair HX Series
CPU - Intel i5 4670k overclocked to 4.3GHZ
RAM - 8GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro Series @ 2133MHz
OS - Windows 10

Thought i would post an update. I have run Memtest86 for 30 mins and shows no errors, I really don't think the issue is hardware related any more as I have checked everything. Yesterday I updated all of my out of date drivers and still no change, the freezing persists. I have checked the event viewer right after a freeze and it throws up a 1001 error I just don't know how to interpret it.

A few years ago I had a similar problem and it was driving me bonkers. In the end it turned out to be my Carbonite backup software that was causing the several second freezing in games. I'd reached the point where I was uninstalling programs one. Carbonite didnt show any cpu / network load but as soon as I uninstalled it, the problem went away. You might have to try a similar aproach to see if theres a rogue program causing problems.

Was it happening to all your games on only one? This is only happening in Paladins, nothing else. I may well try uninstalling programs soon regardless as it is literally doing my head in.....starting with Paladins !!

Even though the game is fairly recent, you could try going to the game .exe and right-clicking Properties > Compatibility tab, and try running it in Windows 8 and then Windows 7. The option to disable "Fullscreen optimizations" in the same tab is also worth a shot.

If running Fullscreen, you could also try Windowed/Windowed Borderless, or vice versa.

This makes it sound like a driver issue - e.g. you updated, it worked, then Windows re-applied an older driver causing it to start breaking again. I've not used 10 much but have heard others complaining of things like this, might be worth trying updating again to see if you get a window of it working and then investigating from there?

So an update on this, I got sick and tired of pulling my hair out trying to fix the issue so in the end, seeing as I have been thinking about it for a while, decided to do a fresh install and go back to Windows 8.1 as I never had any issues with it and Windows 10 I've had plenty. The freezing is still ****** there. I really don't know what to do next.

I have made sure I have the most recent driver installed.

It was my damn OC on my GPU's !!! I've been using that OC for aaaages, never had a problem with it even while running Heaven. I thought I had ruled it out days ago by exiting Afterburner assuming by doing that i would be disabling my Overclock but it must stay on. The second i actually disabled it in Afterburner itself it has run no issues at all. Just glad its finally fixed.
