One HHD missing in windows.

What is going on here?

I installed 2 SATA HD's in my pc... seagate barracudas to be precise 250gb.

Plugged em all in they are detected in bios under sata 1 and sata 2. I installed windows on first one thats showing up fine as C Drive but my other one is missing?

Havnt i set something correctly? it shows up in windows devices i can see it.

if you right click the my computer icon and click manage, then go to disk management, is it in there?

you probably haven't formatted it with a file system, that's why you can't see it in my computer etc

No it doesnt appear in disk management for some reason.

Anymore ideas?

Enter the bios on boot, does it show in there?....

If you cant see the drive in the bios then you have a problem on the hardware side, loose/faulty cable..... or maybe you forgot to plug in the power etc... no offense, it does happen....

Yes it is detected by the bios just fine shows up in SATA 2 slot.

Then it should show up as Disk1 in Disk Management.
