Hi All,

It has been a long time since I used a KVM switch, and I wondered if there were preferences with regards to those that are still around - or if the preference is now to use an alternative solution?

I want to switch between a desktop tower and a laptop, they're not on at the same time so no potential for conflict.

Currently have a USB keyboard, but could consider an upgrade if the best way to do this was wireless (although I also thought that it was just adding a potential issue... could just be me being old though!)

Thanks!

Thanks both - to confirm that synergy needs both on then it's not for me in this instance.

A bluetooth keyboard may be an option (the laptop has bluetooth, the desktop not - but can use a dongle for that), so I'll have a search for something that's suitable.

Thanks for those responses - all good to hear, and the fact that some are powered via USB is a definite bonus.

Will look at each of them and then probably randomly select one based on how soon I can get it...
