One last check before I pull the trigger

I did see someone recommending recently to maybe consider the retail CPU as 3 years warranty instead of 1 year for OEM and its only £20 more...

I would always but the best PSU available for better ripple which leads to better sound/overclocking. Get an EVGA 850w T2 (Titanium-rated) or at least get a higher end PSU

Use a PSU wattage calculator and see if you really need that PSU, I highly doubt you will need that many watts and could probably get away with 550w.

It always got explained to me that you should get a PSU above your actual needs so that there is less strain on the unit, okay that may not be as true to day as it once was but I'd say its probably still a good rule of thumb.

Build looks good and I'm looking for something similar in a couple of months time.

You don't need to spend extra money on a Titanium unit. The Corsair RMx has very low ripple. You don't need anything better to achieve the same overclock.

Hey guys, sorry I didn't check this yesterday I've been busy :)

Thanks for all the feedback, I need 32GB+ of RAM as this will be both a gaming rig (traditional games and VR) and a development rig (virtual machines will be used).

I've stuck with the HX750i PSU as I like Corsair, and this has some great reviews - but thank you for the suggestion :)
