Hello,
Doing a major upgrade on my PC and I just wanted to make sure it was all compatible before I press order.
My Current Spec is:
AMD 64 3700+ @ 2.6Ghz w/ Arctic Cooler Pro
2GB G.Skill ZX
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
X1900XT 512MB
X-Fi xtreme music
74gb raptor
120gb sata
80gb ide
580w hiper type r
Going to upgrade to this:
Can anyone see any problems with the above, or there any think I can get that is better for similar money? Going to keep the X1900XT until the new DX10 cards come out then go for Vista & DX10 card. Planning to keep PSU, Case, DVD-RW, x-fi & 3 HDD's then flog old stuff on MM.

Plus I want to get rid of the IDE drive as its very slow. I'm not sure i'd see the benefits of quad core to be honest, I only game, surf net and do the odd encoding and never at the same time, I'm not a multitasking user!
