I currently am trialing the game on the Europe servers, but my friend is from the USA, and wants to go on the USA server (and me with him) because he knows tons of people that play the game in the USA.

Can I buy the retail UK version and then use that to play on USA servers? don't suppose anyone knows :confused:

nope you would need the us version as far as im aware, you may even need a us address to register it

yea you will need the us version

easiest way would prob be buy it online by making a trial HERE and upgrading

We tried this before, had a few USA guys ont he EU server and we reg'd onto the USA servers. 1st thing you notice is the LAG!.... spils the game and in the end we went or seperate ways as the game was unplayable.

Stil, give it a go, maybe they have got better?

That is a load of nonsense, the game is perfectly playable on US servers from the EU, I played on one for a good 6-7 months.

You need a US account to play on the US servers, and if you really want one you can find sites that will sell you a serial easily. The actual versions of the game are the same, and you just change the realmlist.wtf file to connect to the different servers.
