Really cool seeing that stuff. Makes me want to push my friend in Oregon to get his invention "off the ground" so to speak (sorry, pun inteded there). If we get it going like we hope to, it'll revolutionise interplanetary travel. To the point that you and I could be seeing those planets ourselves in person.......

I remember a lad many years ago who was convinced he was building a spaceship in his back garden. He was pretty messed up. It went something like that anyway.
Back to the OP - yeah saw that pic earlier. I think it's excellent. One of my fav Mars pics of all time is when Opportunity or Spirit (can't remember which) took a picture of it's heat shield. Reminded me of a scene in Return of the Jedi (opening scene when R2 and C3-PO are wandering the desert).
Flamin 'eck I'm waffling. Sorry.

I laughed when beagle 2 went down.. typical!! us brits try and play it with the big boys (NASA) and we are shown up for our budget.

Americans send the eqiv of ferraris into space, we send del and rodneys van.
