... you know when you go to some cafeteria place at a shopping centre, or any fast food restaurant for that matter (or even at the cinema), and you get out those cardboard cups and fill it with a fizzy drink of your choice, how the hell does the drink not fizz everywhere?

Picture this: you're at home and you are pouring a glass of coke, and you have to stand there like a mug while you wait for all the fizz to go down before you can fill the rest of the glass. Why does that not happen when you're out?

Its so bizarre! :p :D :o

Off topic i know but i find this scary.

If you pour coke into a cup made of marble it becomes flat with out a single bubble almost instantly. :D
When i say flat i mean really flat, flat like you left the lid off a bottle for a few days
what if the inside of this cup was lined with impenetrable wax? ;)
