I got problem to connect my Hp laserjet 4000 tn cos always getting this message. Tryed google to solve problem but no luck. Can anybody help.pls

Its an old model of printer and i am runnig Win Xp SP3, my usb keyboard and mouse working ok, i tryed to connect the printer in the usb port where the keyboard and mouse was connected before and i tryed all of the drivers from HP web site. And the printer was working with this cable no problem on diferent comp. So :mad:

It does not show the printer in that menu, what it does when i connect printer thru usb is pop up bouble saying: One of USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance ...bla bla..

Its been working fine on matyes comp under same system, could be that some service for printer is not running???
