One stuck pixel on my laptop...

I got a new Samsung Series 7 Chronos laptop last month. I'd originally got a Series 3, but wanted one with a lit keyboard and although it cost more, I replaced it with a Series 7. I love the shape, design, keyboard, etc, of the Series 7. Lovely device.

So about two weeks after I got it, I went on holiday for a fortnight and when I came back, I noticed a stuck pixel on the screen, about two inches up and four inches in from the left. It's not completely dead, as it's invisible/difficult to see when the screen is red or green.

I tried a video on Youtube for ten minutes which nearly gave my cat an epileptic fit, but it made no difference. I got it from John Lewis, so I may well still be able to return it without too much bother (again), but they no longer have this laptop in stock - and the only replacement metal ones are now considerably more expensive - I can't afford to give them any more and a refund would leave me without my lovely laptop.

Apart from that, I love everything about my new machine. It even games well - which the other half loves as it means I'm not locked up in my man-cave :D

Would you return a laptop for one stuck pixel?
If not, is there any way to unstick it?
