Hi all,

I'd like to be able to use a USB-C audio interface on both my desktop and work laptop (via a docking station) without having to manually change the cable each time - is there a solution? I guess I could use a USB switch/splitter of some kind but I'm wondering if in this day and age there is a more elegant solution?

Cheers!

Unless the device is designed to be connected to two hosts at once, then no, there is no more elegant solution I'm aware of, a USB switch is your best option AFAIK.

I have a similar setup, my iFi Zen DAC only has one USB input. A simple KVM USB switch is what I use - there's a simple button to press to toggle input, it works well.
