OneDrive Issues!

Guys, hope you can help as I can't find anything anywhere that is of use.

I have used OneDrive for years. My old setup was, two folders. 1 and 2. Both had around 600gb of data in them, mainly pics. Each night those drives would backup to my Asustor NAS and an App on the NAS would back them up to OneDrive, I have two email accounts associated with 1 and 2.

I wanted to consolidate 1 and 2 into just one so everything backs up to my main email address. I paid for an extra 1TB storage and consolidated the folders on my PC.

Firstly, OneDrive would tell me I didn't have enough Online Storage despite me having 2TB and only needed 1.13TB to backup. I deleted everything online so there was no issues with storage. I am currently using 1%!

I reset my PC, completely wiped everything in attempt to get this working. Same issue.

Now, OneDrive isn't even attempting to Sync.

Choose folders within OneDrive doesn't show anything which is weird. OneDrive is located on my secondary M.2 I've always had it setup this way. Done the usual unlink, reset, uninstall to no avail. What the hell can it be?!

It might be worth checking if there is some sort of recycle bin for one drive? Perhaps it thinks there is more data than storage if some of it is in a recycle bin?

It’s a good shout but I deleted everything from that online. The problem now is it’s not even attempting to sync, so now I’m not even getting the out of space error.

The fact nothing appears in choose folders suggests something more sinister has happened but it’s a fresh build of Windows. I’ve also recreated the OneDrive folder to no avail.

Not sure if it might help but perhaps try logging into the web version, moving a single file into it and seeing if it will prompt the pc version to update? It might be stuck and a file and perhaps that could force it to refresh?

Good idea. I just went onto OneDrive on my phone and tried uploading a single picture. See below! 4mb?!!! Something seriously wrong

Yeah that doesn't look good does it. I think all you can do really is wait a period of time (maybe 24 hours?) and see if it somehow refreshes itself. If not, probably a case for the support team
