OneDrive Windows Backup

Hi guys,

Just had the post login screen (Windows 10) from MS asking to consider OneDrive backup etc. on one of my hobby builds - I subscribe to 365.

I hit yes in haste and now I 'm getting my main (Windows 11) build's desktop icons on my hobby build's desktop... anyway to set this so my individual rigs don't overlap?

Create sub-folders in the Desktop folder, uncheck Desktop in OneDrive settings on one of the devices or login to the devices with different accounts.

It's a scenario I hadn't considered until now. I have zero shortcuts and files on the Desktop of my personal devices so never really noticed, however a useful feature for shared work devices where I have several shortcuts and like the sync across devices.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I've just turned off 'Desktop' on the hobby build for now.

And fair point, I've got a spare 365 account, I might use that on the hobby build.
