I'm considering getting an S21 Ultra in the new year, maybe a part of some January sale or when the S22 is released, but realised they don't bundle a charger... I've already got a USB C charger from my OnePlus 5T but not sure how it'd work (if at all?) With the Samsung. I'm not sure on the exact specifics but I'm sure the OnePlus chargers run different voltages to the others to push more power. Am I playing a risky game with a charger like the old 5T "dash charge" one? Or would the Samsung take the power it needs within safe limits?

It's completely safe, the phone will negotiate with the charger what it supports, but since the charger doesn't support USB-PD and the S21U doesn't support Dash Charge you'll be charging at the standard slow rate of 10W.

That makes sense, thanks. I'd likely get a proper charger anyway, but was just looking to save a little bit of money and waste- we've got so many chargers hanging around now...
