Onkyo 525 no sound

Very weird issue here

All was fine with my home setup (sky box> 525> Samsung UE50ES6300) until today

Am getting zero sound out if the amp. HDMI pass thru appears to be working as currently have the amp in standby and am able to get pixture and sound from the telly

Anyone have any idead as to what the issue maybe? Seems odd that it has just decided to drop off

Seems i may have fixed the issue.

Had to reset the unit back to factory defaults with pressing power on button and cbl/sat button too.

Seems it had also lost the NET function too....must have been a lock up somwhere that was causing the issue. Lord knows what buttons Mrs S pressed on saturday night when she came home after a few vinos and tried to watch a film while I was away.

I've read that this is a problem with some 525 units, and that a firmware update is supposed to fix it.
