Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum mods please feel free to move.

I have a strange problem with my Vista media center center bluray setup. My media center is currently connected to my Panasonic TH42PZ70B 42" 1080p Plasma through an Onkyo TX-SR605 AV amp via HDMI. When i run Cyberlinks Bluray advisior, it tells me that the Digital display is non HDCP compliant and will not play back the blu ray disc..

If i connect the Media Center direct to my TV via HDMI, all is good and it works fine.

According to the Onkyo Manual the Amp is HDCP compliant.

Thanks for reading, any help would be a god send!

Cheers,

Rich.

It is compliant, I have no issues with the 605. It could be HDMI handshake issue. Theres a recent firmware for the 605, check on the Onkyo site to see if your 605 needs it and check the AV forums 'Integrated AV Amplifiers & Receivers' Sticky for the new firmware. Also try and read the 605 owners thread (could take a while).

The copy of this post on the AV forums may get more responses if you get it moved to the correct forum (assuming this is a 605 issue).

Cheers for your reply mate, will have a read up.. I really want to get it sorted if poss as if not i'll have to route another £45 3m hdmi cable down my cavity wall and plug it into hdmi #2 on the tv.
