Hi, I'm a bit puzzled by this one, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I'm having trouble logging into my ebay and bank of scotland accounts.

Ebay: When I enter my username and password, ebay says they are incorrect - I then reset my password and the next time I log in the same thing happens and I have to reset my password.

BOS: When I go to log in, the website says my access been suspended and I reset my password - but the same thing happens when I have to log in again.

To me it seems like someone is trying to gain access to the accounts - but there is no sign of any virus/spyware etc on computer

any help would be greatly appreciated

I use windows xp, chrome and avast

Have you logged in on any unsecure/public computers? Could anyone have gained access to your main e-mail address linked with bank and ebay? Also do you use the same username + password combo?

For now id try and change your e-mail accounts password to something very secure and email bank and ebay support.

Also try using spybot, its great for finding any nasties that AV can miss.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't been on any public computers. All the passwords/usernames are all different and impossible to guess.

I'll change my password on email.

I emailed the bank and ebay and they just sent automated instructions that weren't of any use.

No one has got into my accounts, it's just frustrating having to reset my password every time!

Yeah, i can imagine that is a bit frustrating!

Sorry i cant be of much more use. Maybe switch browser for a while see if that is affecting it in some way?
