online banking question

i moved some money from 1 account to another on my abbey account via the internet but it hasnt shown up yet on the other account. how long do they normally take?

Both account with Abbey? If I do that with my Halifax accounts it shows up straight away.

yeh both. i did do it late lastnight tho but its got current balance £163 Available Balance £43, i kinda need it to be in as ive just bought something and it needs paying. i might have to go and put some money in via the desk

Normally same day for the same Bank but may take up to 3 working days. Not sure how transferring money on a Friday night which you actually need the next day makes sense ...

Call your bank or telephone banking and ask them.

i dont need it as ive got another bank account this is a spare, i just thought it was all done straight away guess it isnt

The only way it will sho instantly online is if its from a linked saver account to your main current. If its just to another Abbey account then no it wont likely show up until Monday as they dont usually update over the weekend, sometimes they do though. I would give it 24hours.
