I have been toying with the idea of having a go at these as I have heard you can make some decent money out of it.
I downloaded 888.com's games and made quite a bit of money playing blackjack on the 'guest' setting, it just seems too easy! Is this the case when you are playing with real money?

Does anyone have any good tricks or techniques? Or does anyone know of any good online deals out there ie free bets or free money!? I noticed the old casino threads have gone so cant look them up.

To be honest, the gravy train has been and gone. But good luck!

The best tips i can give are sign up for the casino's that give monthly bonus's (i.e £25, £50) If you deposit £25 they give you £25 but you cannot withdraw their £25 until you have made £750 worth of bets. (as an example)

Stick with blackjack, stick with small bets to start, stick with wizardofodds.com blackjack guide.

Littlewoods, Williamhill, Ritz, Ukbetting, Intercasino are all the ones i used.

It certainly has , the good days are long gone , but hey I won £12,000 so who am I to complain

I was making £700 a month at the age of 17, in 2002 but shhhh don't tell my mum

nope did mine mainly on Blackjack

what has changed is tightening of t+c's , every growing wager requirements and the use of sticky bonuses

So how did you make the money before then, if t&c's matter?

in simple terms the average payout on Blackjack ( played to BS ) is about 99.5%

a typical bonus would be deposit £50 and recieve £50 free if you played 10x ( maybe 15 ) times the total of the deposit and bonus , so (50+50) * 10 = £1000

you play £1000 and on average return 99.5% resulting in a loss of £5 , with the bonus then added you were in profit by £45

I wouldn't say the good days have long gone....I'm still doing the monthlies and made a tadge under 400 quid last month (just passed the 11k mark).

Ye, only a handful of casinos that I still bother with - interUK/US, willhill and sometimes the ritz. Think these are the only ones remaining that are technically without risk allowing you to play with the bonus before your own money.

Tried my hand at this last night, had never tried online gambling before. Got up to £1400 on Blackjack but got stupid with my bets and am back down to my initial money now

Ah well, time to try and build it up again and not get greedy this time
