Yep probably just give up with it... I have just as much chance as using a carrier pigeon at that point. Meeting somebody in public is rare... I have had women smile at me when out but it don't happen often so maybe a window of opportunity to ask a women out for coffee or whatever then but it still be hit or miss... I used to meet women in clubs etc and I was reasonably successful but times have changed since then. Not many to no resources for meeting women anymore... I joined a few social groups...
Or it's full of other middle aged blokes looking for exactly the same thing as he is.
