I was wondering wether anyone was aware of, or might be able to point me toward some sort of open source web software which would allow for online document review/collaboration along the following lines .
- Users register
- A user uploads a document for review
- Other users are notified that a new document has been uploaded and invited to respond through comments, which are stuck at the end of the document (ideally only users interested in the documents subject would be notified through some form of meta-data)
- Other registered users can then rate the comments of reviewers
Does something like this already exist or am I best off starting from scratch?
